Refund Policy

1. Returns Eligibility

Items may be returned within 7 days of collection, provided they are unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by the original tax invoice. Items that have been installed, modified, or damaged after collection are not eligible for return.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned: special-order products, cut-to-length cable, items sold as-is or on clearance, and products with broken manufacturer seals. Software licences and downloadable content are non-refundable once delivered.

3. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours of collection at info@havenergy.co.za or 087 711 2230. We will arrange an exchange or credit at no charge. Proof of the defect (photos or description) may be required.

4. Return Process

To initiate a return, contact us at info@havenergy.co.za with your order number and reason for return. Returns must be physically brought back to our Cape Town premises — we do not arrange courier collection. Returns without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

5. Refunds

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days via EFT to the original bank account used for payment. We do not refund to a different account. Cash refunds are not offered. Original shipping or handling fees (if any) are non-refundable.

6. Warranty Claims

Warranty claims beyond 7 days are handled directly with the manufacturer. We will assist by providing purchase documentation and liaising with the relevant brand representative where possible. Warranty periods and terms are set by each manufacturer.

7. Consumer Protection Act

These terms are subject to the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 25 of 2002, where applicable. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under South African law.
